PULIC pioneered a flexible approach to solving insurance problems for physicians, surgeons, dentists, podiatrists, and other medical professionals whose needs fall outside of the standard professional liability insurance market. We evaluate each applicant individually to determine the most appropriate coverage. Health care professionals insured through us know they have the best protection available and that it is backed by an experienced, financially strong, and stable company.

Physicians, surgeons, dentists, podiatrists, and other medical professionals are eligible for our program coverage for a range of reasons, including histories of claims frequency or severity, licensing actions or board sanctions, alcohol or substance abuse, or because of issues with hospital privileges, gaps in coverage periods, procedures performed, multistate practices, or geographic location of practice.

Our program coverage is available throughout most of the United States. We accept coverage applications completed for other companies to determine a premium indication. When coverage is issued, however, a completed PULIC application is required.
